The Anson is the first house in Bay View Terrace, a row of Grade II listed Edwardian villas overlooking Porthleven harbour and Mounts Bay.

The open plan dining room has an oak dining table and leather chairs and the splendid L shaped kitchen has two large skylights, granite worktops and solid oak units. Siemens appliances include double oven, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a Smeg Retro style fridge/freezer, slate floors and Royal Worcester crockery. French doors lead from the kitchen to the side patio with an outdoor shower, ideal for sandy feet and buckets and spades.

The lounge is on the first floor to take full advantage of the views over the harbour and across the bay with a large L shaped sofa and bay window seat. Beautifully furnished with designer fabrics and furnishings and artwork from the owner’s own collection, there is a TV with digital Freeview, DVD player, CD player, telephone, wireless broadband and an excellent selection of books, games, DVD’s and CD’s.

The twin bedroom and bunk bedroom, with full size bunk beds, are also on the first floor, as is a shower room with large walk in shower with both drench and hand held showers, illuminated mirror, heated towel rail and natural stone flooring.

At the front of the property steps lead up to an elevated natural slate terrace with views over the harbour and out to sea, furnished with a granite bench and table and chairs. This catches the sun from mid morning to the end of the day and is the perfect place to sit with a glass of wine and watch the sun set over the Atlantic. The lower section is gravelled and planted with a coastal theme.
